Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City (2012)

Along with the new team features and competitive online multiplayer modes, also comes a big doubt: Can I Run Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City? Back in 2009 CAPCOM released a benchmark tool before the official release of Resident Evil 5. This is not the case for Res Evil ORC, but that does not matter as you are in the right place to check. Let's take a look at the Resident Evil ORC System Requirements...

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Minimum System Requirements
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo 2.4 Ghz or better, AMD Athlon(TM) X2 2.8 Ghz
RAM: 2GB
GPU: NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) 8800GTS / ATI Radeon(TM) HD 3850

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Max System Requirements
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad 2.7 Ghz or better /AMD Phenom(TM)II X4 3 Ghz
RAM: 4GB
GPU: NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GTX 560 / Radeon HD 6950
There's a line on the official release that says "Under NVIDIA program, not recommending ATI, but the equivalent card would be Radeon HD 6950" - this could mean poor driver support for AMD users or hardware incompatibility but we've come cross many games that recommend a certain manufacturer but in the end, as long as the GPU is powerful enough, everything's in the clear.
Only the Minimum System Requirements seem a little harsh since they strike out most mobile GPUs and some old middle-class deskop GPUs (e.g GeForce GT 430, Radeon HD 6570) but we believe with proper tweaking and perhaps future driver support, any middle-class Rig can run it, if not on the lowest settings.
We have added the GD Adjusted system requirements which represent a reasonably powerful PC that we feel will deliver a great Max Payne 3 gaming experience when the time comes.
